Request a key for the in-room safe at check-in. It's free to use and adds an extra layer of security for your valuables.

Daily breakfast with local options added a nice touch to our stay.
The bed was too small for two people, super uncomfortable and cracking with every turn.

site is well located, rooms and facilities are clean and staff is friendly. They have free wifi (thank goodness, it's 2018, it should be standard by now) and check-in is 24h... for the price, it's right.
beds were the worst, they looked like folding beds, they were those spring beds that you hear the metal creaking when you move, they were light: when you turned around they moved around the room. I didn't like the pillow, I didn't want to get up and ask for another one either. breakfast was correct, not one of the best I've tried, problem is that we arrived 1 hour before breakfast closed and hot things were already cold, they didn't keep them warm... then, coffee is from a vending machine, not a coffee maker, it's pretty good, juice is also from a machine, this one is terrible... better to ask for natural juice.

Everything was very comfortable, just as you would expect in a 3-star hotel. Quick and easy check-in and check-out in a central location. Warm room just arriving, which is appreciated when you arrive cold from the street, and with a temperature regulator that worked perfectly. The heating made a little noise but you could regulate the power or stop to avoid it because the room kept the temperature well. Bathroom, with videt, nice, clean and working great, no typical problem of temperature or water pressure. The room had extra pillows and blankets in the closet, the TV was fine too, everything and some channels were in English was easy to change.
You could hear a little noise in the corridor just in front of the door, fortunately nothing from the other rooms so it wasn't disturbing either. You could also hear a little noise from the street, mainly emergency vehicles and wind that was very strong in the nights we were there. nothing excessive, I think it was almost inevitable with the central location. sink hanger was loose and fell over when we used it, that's the biggest complaint of the otherwise ten room.

Chur! The bed was super uncomfortable and the old decor needed a good freshen up. But we loved the friendly staff and awesome location, just a 15 min walk to Sants.

Clean hotel, very welcoming staff, particularly good and unbeatable location close to the Metro. New-fashioned and well-designed rooms, exceptionally comfortable beds. Large bathroom, and satellite television, climate control, and an individual safe.

Everything was amazing, fully equipped hotel, the location was top close to all the attractions, La Rambla, Sagrada Familia, walking distance and the cafe next door. The breakfast was gorgeous, it offered toast, pastries and eggs. The staff was really helpful and attentive, provided a simple check-in after the rooms are cleaned.

Recommend it for budget-conscious travelers
I stayed three nights at the hotel and found the cleanliness perfect! The shower pressure was powerful, a real treat after a long day out.
It wasn't exactly a bargain, but definitely worth the price.

We loved the cleanliness and staff, somewhat away from the subway stop in the heat, for the price, it's okay.
- We didn't like the neighborhood at all: having almost all the restaurants/bars run by foreign people who neither understand them nor us. Luckily we found a winery run by old people from here with whom we spent a fantastic hour. And frankly the charm of the area is lost as well as that of the whole of Barcelona. That's why we won't be going back to the area, and by the way not even Barcelona, with so much business run by outsiders - dishes and services sold to foreign tourists and not to national ones - has already lost all its charm, on a par with having a city that makes people beg in the streets. It is sad to see so many people begging in the streets. Let them understand each other as they wish and accept things as they are.

The reception staff were quite friendly and accommodating.
I faced a lot of discomfort due to poor soundproofing in my room. Every night was plagued by the cacophony of vehicles outside. The air conditioning was inadequate, leaving me hot and restless throughout the night.

Room was nice and big, the bed was comfortable, linen and toileteries were of good quality, refrigerator was provided in the room and the air conditioning worked very well. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
They should consider putting in tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms. The location is about 15 minutes walking distance from the nearest Metro or Bus stops, hence going to the town becomes difficult (particularly if you enjoy the Barcelona night life). With luggage, you have to necessarily take a taxi to and from the airport, which is expensive (particularly if your flight is early morning or late night, and on weekends - which are defined as Friday, Saturday and Sunday)

I liked almost everything. - Good, cheap breakfasts. - Friendly, friendly staff. - Spacious neat room with a large bed, TV, bath, shower and toiletries, which were regularly changed. - Among the toiletries the hotel provided: shampoos, shower gels, shaver (!), toothbrushes (!), toothpaste. - When the first time they turned on the TV, it was already set to Russian channel (!). This suggests that we were waiting for and specially prepared the number for our arrival (!). - We stopped by the hotel at night after 00-00, but it did not cause any problems. The employee at the reception already had all the documents prepared. We were expected and prepared for our arrival. - I will describe all these nuances in detail, because we have never seen such a friendly and attentive attitude even in some 4-star hotels in Milan, Rome and other major European cities. - The location of the hotel is quite convenient. Plaza Catalunya and Plaza Espana are about 15-20 minutes on foot. A 5-minute walk from the hotel in Via Gran Via is a stop of city buses, which can be reached at the airport at any time of day. - The Urgel Metro Station is about 10 minutes' walk away. - There are many supermarkets, cafes and restaurants in the vicinity. In general, the hotel has a very positive experience. The price/quality ratio is optimal in our opinion.
With such a low cost of living in the hotel disadvantage is very difficult to find. The disadvantages include only slightly worn furniture and inexpensive plumbing. But the quality of accommodation it does not affect at all.
